Church of God, Orphans and Vulnerable Children programming is strategy is guided by and aligned with the National Frame Work for the National Costed Plan for Action for most for Vulnerable Children developed by Department of Social Welfare- Ministry of Health and Social Welfare Tanzania 2007 to 2010.

The National Costed Action Plan for the most vulnerable children presents a frame work of goals strategies and actions that is  promoting  the Survival, Growth, Well- being, Development, and Protection of most Vulnerable Children in Tanzania.

COGs Programming strategies focuses on strengthening the family and community and community care for OVC from the slums area in three Wards in Arusha city, primary through supporting with collaborate with Most Children Vulnerable Committee, ( MVCC) that brings together the service providers such as local government, Faith based organization, local business and NGOS

These Committees formed  include community based service providers, Priest, Nurses, Teachers, Caregiver and Children take responsibilities to identifying,  monitoring , assisting, and protect OVC, Most Vulnerable Children Committee  facilitate both coordinating and expansion  OVC  response within the community.
