VOLUNTEER PEAR EDUCATORS

Children Care Development Organization is Inviting Volunteers from all Parts of the World.

Children care Development Organization (CCDO) is a Non-governmental organization formerly Christ Care Development Foundation established in 2009 and granted full legal registration No. ooNGO/00003818 on 13th April, 2010 and mandated to operate in Tanzania Mainland in accordance with its governing constitution by the Ministry of Development, Gender and Children of The United Republic of Tanzania.

Volunteers are invited from all parts of the world to come and join us in different activities as indicated here below:

Activities

  1. To provide ICT trainings to our children and youths at our centers.
  2. To empower and improve the poor people’s opportunities to access skills and revolving fund to eradicate the root causes of poverty on local communities so as to enable them attain self-reliance sustainability through setting up their individual viable/profitable micro business to generate income for their families.
  3. To teach our community members on international foreign languages i.e.English, France, Arab, Chinese and Germany.
  4. To sensitize the community on how HIV is transmitted and how the transmission can be prevented.
  5. To train home based care counselor, birth attendants, midwives, and other PHC facility workers with a focus on building their skill and capacity for effective delivery of maternal newborn and child health care in an integrated manner as described from the MDGs number 4 & 5.

In setting up our volunteer peer educators for partnership is to maintain reciprocal exchange of skills, knowledge and experience so as to reduce the mentality of the peoples dependence on government and donors on the issues they could handle themselves through educating them on how to be self-reliant and dependence by being productive through utilizing the available resources in their environment or somewhere else.

 

CCDO Will Provide You The Following

  1. You will be provided with short courses for Swahili language.
  2. Two days of safaris to either Mikumi National Park or Ruaha National Park.
  3. Learn Tanzanian culture.
  4. Also you will have time to meet and socialize with our children at our centers.

The money donated to our organization i.e. $600, will be directed to the following areas;

  1. School fee support for most vulnerable children selected in government secondary schools.
  2. Escalation of Violence against Women (VAW) and Gender Based Violence (GBV) in Schools of Iringa Region, Tanzania.
  3. Press conferences around Iringa districts to make people aware about HIV, STD, and AIDS prevention strategies.
  4. Seminars and workshops on entrepreneurship.
  5. Nutritious food to OVC and Widow(s) living with HIV/AIDS.
