SHORT HISTORY OF THE ORGANIZATION,OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION ,MAIN AREAS OF ACTIVITY

Its aim includes facil;itating and promoting access to information technology for sustainable development initiatives,supporting marginalised community members(women,youth,disabled,street children,elders),conducting environment campaign and sensitization towards HIV/AIDS and STI preventions.

CIT runs CTLC(commuity technology learning centers),we provide a free and low cost,friendly place where people of all ages can learn about computer use,internet and develop techinical skills.The focal point will be to work with MVC and OVC,build relationship with ward executive,education and community development officials in building a mass awareness and raising consciousness on community computer technology.We strive to building confidence,self-efficacy and self-esteem to vulnerable groups

CIT-A part from information technology initiatives,we strive to open and establish pre-school(kindergatern) and introduce computer learning at early age for vulnerable children affected by HIV/ADS and poverty.

The project will employ local and international exparts to deliver the services and to sensitize the community members through advocacy. empowering and training on the issues affecting elders, women,youth and children and maintaining the meaningful care of natural resources.

CIT has it’s headquarter in Mwanza region, and its activities will initially target in the rural and urban areas in two respective regions (Mwanza and Kagera regions).

CIT Specific Objectives

1To engage in the work of community development trough information, communication and technology.

2  To engage in mass mobilization on HIV/AIDS,STI, MALARIA and environment control

3  To promote gender equality and equity in accessing computer technology.

4  to facilitate the establishment of community based information centers for sustainable development and promote gender equality

5  To network with local and international organization to cater for information technology advancement

6  To support most vulnerable widows and children living in difficult circumstances

 SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS/PROBLEM BACKGROUND

The term Information and Communication Technology (ICT) refers to forms of technology that are used for communication and to transmit, store, create, share or exchange information. This broad definition of ICT includes technologies such as: radio,television, video, telephone (both fixed line and mobile), computer and network hardware and software; as well as the equipment and services associated with these technologies,such as electronic mail, text messaging and radio broadcasts

Tanzania’s education policies and education development programmes. As stated in the education policy of1995, the overall aims of education in Tanzania are, among other things:

“to promote the acquisition and appropriate use of literary, social, scientific,

vocational, technological, professional and other forms of knowledge, skills and

understanding for the development and improvement of man and society.”

The use of ICT in education is the bedrock of a knowledge society and will enable the country to contribute both to achieving Education for All (EFA) goals and reducing the digital divide

The Tanzania Development Vision 2025

The Vision envisages a nation imbued with five main attributes: high quality livelihood,peace, stability and unity; good governance, a well educated and learning society, and a strong and competitive economy capable of producing sustainable growth and shared profits. The Vision explicitly includes ICT by noting ‘The new opportunities that ICT is opening up can be harnessed to meet the goals of the Vision’

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)

Tanzania is committed to achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) for poverty reduction. The MDGs to achieve universal primary education and to address gender disparity in education are of direct relevance to the MoEVT, as is the goal of developing a global partnership for development. This policy takes heed of the fact that ICT is considered an important tool in assisting Tanzania to achieve all MDGs.Therefor that, In our inter-connected world, knowledge and information are becoming corner stones for the development of a society, as is the ability to communicate. It is our duty to prepare our community members so that they can benefit from and contribute to our country's development in the information age.

  Historia fupi ya Shirika, Malengo ya Shirika, MAIN MAENEO YA SHUGHULI

Lengo lake ni pamoja na facil; itating na kukuza upatikanaji wa teknolojia ya habari kwa mipango ya maendeleo endelevu, kusaidia pembezoni wanajamii (wanawake, vijana, walemavu, watoto wa mitaani, wazee), kufanya kampeni ya mazingira na uhamasishaji kwa VVU / UKIMWI na magonjwa ya zinaa preventions.

Cit anaendesha CTLC (commuity teknolojia ya kujifunza vituo), sisi kutoa gharama ya bure na ya chini, kirafiki mahali ambapo watu wa umri wote wanaweza kujifunza juu ya mtandao wa kompyuta matumizi, na kuendeleza Techinical skills.The kitovu itakuwa kufanya kazi na MVC na OVC, kujenga uhusiano na wodi ya maafisa maendeleo ya mtendaji, elimu na jamii katika kujenga ufahamu wa molekuli na kuongeza fahamu juu ya jamii ya kompyuta technology.We kujitahidi kujenga kujiamini, ufanisi binafsi na kujithamini kwa makundi ya wasiojiweza

Cit-sehemu katika mipango teknolojia ya habari, sisi kujitahidi kufungua na kuanzisha shule ya awali (kindergatern) na kuanzisha kompyuta kujifunza katika umri mdogo kwa ajili ya watoto wanaoishi katika mazingira magumu walioathirika na VVU ADS / na umaskini.

Mradi kuajiri exparts za ndani na kimataifa kutoa huduma na kuhamasisha jamii kwa njia ya utetezi. kuwawezesha na mafunzo juu ya masuala yanayoathiri wazee, wanawake, vijana na watoto na kudumisha huduma ya maana ya maliasili.

Cit ina ni makao makuu ya mkoa wa Mwanza, na shughuli zake kuwa kwanza kulenga katika maeneo ya vijijini na mijini katika mikoa miwili husika (Mwanza na Kagera).

1To kushiriki katika kazi ya maendeleo ya jamii kupitia nyimbo mawasiliano ya habari, na teknolojia.

2 Ili kushiriki katika uhamasishaji molekuli juu ya VVU / UKIMWI, magonjwa ya zinaa, MALARIA na mazingira ya udhibiti

3 Kujenga usawa wa jinsia na usawa katika kupata huduma ya teknolojia ya kompyuta.

4 kuwezesha kuanzishwa kwa vituo vya jamii makao habari kwa ajili ya maendeleo endelevu na usawa wa kijinsia

5 Kwa mtandao na shirika la ndani na nje ya kuhudumia maendeleo ya teknolojia ya habari

6 Ili kusaidia wajane wengi katika mazingira magumu na watoto wanaoishi katika mazingira magumu

Hali ANALYSIS / TATIZO USULI

Habari mrefu na Teknolojia ya Mawasiliano (ICT) inahusu aina ya teknolojia ambayo hutumiwa kwa mawasiliano na kusambaza, kuhifadhi, kujenga, kugawa au kubadilishana habari. Ufafanuzi huu mpana wa ICT ni pamoja na teknolojia kama vile: radio, televisheni, video, simu kompyuta (wote fasta line na simu), na vifaa mtandao na programu, kama vile vifaa na huduma zinazohusiana na teknolojia hizi, kama vile barua pepe maandishi, ujumbe na matangazo ya redio

Elimu ya Tanzania sera na mipango ya maendeleo ya elimu. Kama ilivyoelezwa katika of1995 sera ya elimu, kwa ujumla malengo ya elimu nchini Tanzania ni kati ya mambo mengine:

"Kukuza upatikanaji na matumizi sahihi ya fasihi, kijamii, kisayansi,

ufundi, teknolojia, wataalamu na aina nyingine ya maarifa, na ujuzi

kuelewa kwa ajili ya maendeleo na uboreshaji wa mtu na jamii. "

Dira ya Maendeleo ya Tanzania 2025

Maono anges taifa imbued na sifa kuu tano: high quality maisha, amani, utulivu na umoja, utawala bora, jamii pamoja na elimu na kujifunza, na uchumi imara na ushindani uwezo wa kuzalisha ukuaji wa uchumi na faida ya pamoja. Maono waziwazi ni pamoja na ICT kwa kubainisha 'fursa mpya kwamba ICT ni kufungua kan kufikia malengo ya Dira ya'

Maendeleo ya Milenia (MDGs)

Tanzania ni nia ya kufikia Malengo ya Maendeleo ya Milenia (MDGs) kwa ajili ya kupunguza umaskini. MDGs kufikia elimu ya msingi na kushughulikia masuala ya jinsia tofauti katika elimu ya umuhimu wa moja kwa moja MoEVT, kama ni lengo la kuendeleza ushirikiano wa kimataifa kwa ajili ya maendeleo. Sera hii inachukua kukumbuka ukweli kwamba ICT ni kuchukuliwa chombo muhimu katika kusaidia Tanzania malengo MDGs.Therefor kwamba, Katika baina ya uhusiano wetu maarifa ya dunia, na habari ni kuwa kona mawe kwa ajili ya maendeleo ya jamii, ikiwa ni uwezo kuwasiliana.
