REUMI is a small nongovernmental, nonprofit making, non political and non biased organization. It`s a faith based organization.

In 1993, the Ministry was registered in Tanzania, under Government Civil Society Registration Ordinance, with Registration Number SO 7779.

  In 1983 Reverend Paul Kaje was ministering in one of the marginalized communities in Makiba village of Arumeru district, Arusha Region. This is when he came across poor marginalized communities, a people patched with poverty, hunger, and thirst for spiritual and physical assistance. A People torn apart, by poor human and social structures. This indeed marked a turnaround in his pastoral work and shaped what today is REUMI

 Initiated by Reverend Paul Kaje, the organization cares for marginalized poor communities in Arusha, Manyara and Kilimanjaro regions. The organization’s special attention is placed in assisting children, widows and the communities at large, especially the vulnerable children, that is, children under harsh realities.   

 REUMI is dedicated to the dream ,Vision and burden of the founder, that Christ , we are called and sent to  built a nation for our children, youth and adult ,by ministering to spread faith, love and peace to every human being, without considering , color , religion , race nor sex .

This we do with the essence of virtue of humility which lies not in self – depreciation, but instead in practical realization of our complete dependence on God.

  We as an organization and a Christian Ministers for this matter are called upon to strengthen our local communities in our partnership by transferring knowledge and know how to enable them to come up with the best use of the community resources at their disposal.

  What defines us is not just any distinction, but rather a shared vision, a shared dream and Shared future. We so do committed with great humility and faith within us, knowing believingly that the future before us is big and bright.

 Without hesitations we to the best knowledge of our ability shall employ SMART as our progressive measure tool, thus our goals shall be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Reachable and Tangible.

 We also in good faith know believingly and committed, that Man is greater and more significance than even the best thing, this world has to offer. In this respect we seek to live and better understand and imitate, to the best of our knowledge, empowered by God.

REUMI is dedicated to the dream, Vision and burden of the founder, in that; we are called and sent to Fight against ignorance, poverty and disease, especially to the rural and remote areas of the country 

REUMI’S Vision is to become the touchstone of the cornerstone in transformation of human life, Therefore we are being transformed and transfixed to become the synagogue. peddlers and risk takers, to empower the poor, strengthen the weak, embrace the outcast, and seek the lost.

We believe in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit thus Trinity, in the righteousness living and the doctrine of common good and that only with God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we can and seek to become community changers and progressive developmental emancipators. We understand with great and essential volitional character, the needs in our neighborhood and our community at large.
