In my view,though can be critisized.......poverty reduction to LDCs especialy Sub-African counties is a going concern as at this junction we need to put in place policies that are tailor-made and priorities that suit our environment as other models developed can not be replicated to LDCs.
When speaking of poverty reduction in LDCs, investment in rural agriculture is unavoidable as the sector employ majority of African population(e.g Tanzania population about 80% is in rural)as rural individual income is increased the abject poverty will be reduced(take case study of the rise of poor economy of China and India and their growth model)
Povety reduction strategies should be approched using pro-poor approach as majority of poor/population is situated,thus provision of better services like education,health and water sanitation will boost the economy and reduce abject poverty in a sustained way.
