The group photo showing the team members of the Kiteto Learning event,the idea which was initiated by Mzeituni Foundation to go and learn more in Kiteto district especially on the implementation of the public private partnership policy.In the event we engaged members of the Ukerewe Non Governmental Organization(UNGONET),Chancellors of both districts9Ukerewe and Kiteto districts),head of departments from the LGA and the KCS-Forum members(Kiteto Civil Society Forum).We real enjoyed the learning event which was sponsored by Forum Syd-Tanzania who has been our donor from the year 2010 to date under SAPT(Social Accountability Program in Tanzania. Finally it is true that alone the government can not bring development to a satisfactory extent but it needs several actors like NGOs,CBOs etc.Kiteto has been doing good especially in collaborating with private sectors i.e KCS-Forum in running different projects in Kiteto.It is a situation which once adopted in every district Tanzania will be too far,in terms of successful and results based projects. TOGETHER WE CAN!!

This is a group photo when members of Partnership for Nutrition in Tanzania Limited (PANITA) had a workshop at the Regency Park hotel in Dar es Salaam on 14th /nov/2013 when the survey on HANCI(Hunger and Nutrition Commitment Index)was launched in the presence of 15 members of parliament of Tanzania and who agreed to be the ambassadors in and outside of the parliament to advocate for scaling up nutrition.And the survey showed that Tanzania is doing bad in nutrition issues whereby its Children under five of age are malnourished.

It was another story showing commitment of the people that the entertaining group(Utandawazi) kept on dancing regarding that it was raining.They were trying to communicate on the effects on Malnutrition on our kids on destroying the man power of this Nation.

Mr.Chrispine Ferdinand ( Program Officer from Mzeituni Foundation) and Mr.Kaneja Faraja(the current chairman of the Foundation)distributing nutritious flour to a number primary school students who attended the commemoration on 30th /10/2013 at Mongella Stadium,Ukerewe district.

The acting chairman of the Ukerewe district,Mr.Costantine Lusomya William when he was airing his concerns on nutrition issues and then commited himself that he would take the message back into the full Council so that to ensure enough budget allocation in nutrition related matters in every financial year.Therefore he agreed that Councillors have the role to play in combating malnutrition in The District.

Muhidini A.Munga the Ukerewe district executive director and the district nutrition steering committee chairperson when he was giving his speech during the commemoration of the African food and Nutrition day held on 30th /10/2013 at Getrude Mongella stadium. He said that he will keep contribute to his best level in ensuring that there is enough budget allocated in nutrition matters.
