Introduction

Children Care Development Organization (CCDO) is a non-governmental organization created to assist women, young girls, orphans, youth and those who live in difficult circumstances. This organization was legally established on 13^th April, 2010 at Iringa with all legal rights to operate in accomplishing its mission, vision and goals. The organization was established under the leadership of Majaliwa Mbogela who is the chairperson of the organization. The organization started with five officials who were ready to cooperate in assisting the vulnerable groups.

Historical Background of the organization

The organization was created by a woman known as Lautness Fungo in the 1985 with the idea to help young girls to attend to school and to defend women rights because at that women had no right to education and to expression therefore she took that opportunity to form this organization. Though she had all these good ideas her organization was not legally registered. The most difficult she faced was that she had no formal education so she lacked the basic skills such as treading and writing and povery was the other problem she faced. With her husband Mayova Mbogela they succeed to send only male children to school since they were the once who were accepted to be registered at schools. After the death of his husband in 1985 she was the one who remained to take care his children. Out of six children she had two of them were female who were not sent to school a thing which discouraged her mostly. From her four sons one of them was Majaliwa Mbogela. Majaliwa was told by her mother through the education he had to form the organization which will be legally recorgnized under the country laws. In 2010 Majaliwa went to Uganda for university studies where he came up with the idea of the name Children Care Development Organization (CCDO). In Uganda he worked to create the website of the organization and to write the constitution of the organization. On 13^th April, 2010 he succeeded to form the organization under the legal laws of the organization.

Our Mission

The mission of CCDO is to assist women, young girls, youth, orphans, street children and those who live in difficult life circumstance to get their rights, basic needs, to acquire techniques on how to fight against poverty and how to prevent communicable diseases such as HIV and AIDS.

Our Vision

The vision of CCDO is to see that all the vulnerable groups get will be able to generate their own income through self employment, to fight against the infectious diseases, women and young girls to attain their freedom to education and expression.

Our Success

The organization succeeded;

1. To have the meetings with various ministers responsible in education and gender to talk about the orphans, women and young girls’ difficulties.
2. To create the vocational training center so as to teach the vulnerable groups the basic ethics in life and to educate them on small craft, tailoring and embroiderly, ICT, shoes making, carpentry and welding activities that assists them to generate income and provide the care to their families.
3. To establish a Peace Flame pre and primary school which provide education to many vulnerable children
4. To establish a football team for both boys and girls so as to assist them to perform body exercises
5. To establish movement to save the climate by giving them education on forest management, supplying them with trees, planting trees in various district and frequency checking of the ongoing climatic issues in various areas.
6. To establish the Peace Flame medical centre which is offering free health careto amoung the vulnerable street children and eldery persons.
7. To establish the Maasai programme based on female genital multilation (FGM), rape and gender based violence (GBV) research development issues.

Difficulties and failures of the organization

1. We fail to handle properly the projects such as vocational training center and ICT center due to lack of funds since the education provided is free of charge therefore we face difficulties in paying tax, electricity, water and salary to the teachers.
2. We lack internal and external volunteers who are willing to cope with us in improving the living standard of vulnerable group.
3. We lack donors to support our movement.

• For volunteers outside Tanzania we help them to get the VISA application form and registration.
• For volunteers inside and outside Tanzania will be supplied with all life basic needs such settlement and food.

Maendeleo ya Watoto Care Organization (CCDO) zamani wa Maendeleo ya Kristo Care Foundation ni ndogo upendo kusajiliwa kisheria kufanya kazi Tanzania Bara namba za usajili ooNGO/00003818.

Kimsingi, CCDO ilisajiliwa tarehe 13 Aprili 2010 kama National Non - Shirika la Kiserikali katika Wizara ya Maendeleo ya Jinsia na Watoto, Dar es Salaam na mamlaka ya kufanya kazi katika eneo la Tanzania Bara ambapo mkoa wa Iringa alichaguliwa kama makao makuu yetu kuu. Ofisi zetu ziko katika Kihesa-Iringa na Kihesa Manispaa kinyume Ofisi ya Posta na matawi mengine ni kinyume Mshindo hali katika msikiti wa Kiislamu Katoliki Parokia ya ndani ya Manispaa.

Shirika iliundwa makusudi kurejesha usalama wa binadamu kwa taabu watoto wa Tanzania wanaoishi katika mazingira magumu zaidi mazingira ya hatari, uadui na hash kutokana na umaskini, ubaguzi, ujinga, VVU / UKIMWI na unyanyapaa na masuala mengine masharti na unyanyasaji wa kijinsia katika jamii. Lengo lilikuwa walengwa na kutoa elimu hasa kwa ajili ya elimu ya msingi na ya ufundi, stadi za maisha na ushauri nasaha kwa ajili ya watoto yatima, uwezo wa kukidhi mahitaji ya msingi ya watoto yatima, kujenga uwezo wa walezi anapenda makundi ya kidini (FBO) na Jumuiya ya Mashirika ya Msingi (CBO) , na pia kuelimisha watoto wa masikini kupata huduma mazingira yao ya jirani kwa njia ya ICT ufumbuzi wa hifadhi ya mazingira.

Tanzania kwa sasa ina zaidi ya milioni 2 watoto yatima, ambao wengi wao walikuwa yatima na VVU / UKIMWI (Ripoti ya Hali ya Umaskini Tanzania, 2003). idadi ya yatima katika Tanzania ni kuongezeka kila siku kutokana na maelezo hapo juu.

Mfano, ripoti kutoka Ofisi ya Mkuu wa Mkoa wa Mkoa wa Iringa kutambuliwa idadi ya MVC (mazingira magumu zaidi watoto) kama ifuatavyo; Iringa walikuwa 12,595 (wanaume 6,542 na wanawake 6,053), Mufindi walikuwa 16,524 (wanaume 8,265 na wanawake 8,259), Makete walikuwa 13,216 (wanaume 5333, 7883), Njombe walikuwa 4,553 (wanaume 2,345 na wanawake 2,208), Ludewa walikuwa 7,274 (wanaume 3,736 na wanawake 3,538), Manispaa ya Iringa walikuwa 8,000 (wanaume 3,760 na wanawake 4,240), Kilolo walikuwa 3,698 (wanaume 1,856 na wanawake 1,842 ), Njombe mji walikuwa 2,138 (wanaume 1,093 na wanawake 1,045). Jumla ya idadi ya kutambuliwa watoto wanaoishi katika mazingira magumu zaidi katika mkoa wa Iringa na mwaka 2010 walikuwa 67,998 wakati idadi ya watoto katika hatari zaidi ya kupata huduma walikuwa 34,859 wakati 33,139 MVC si kupata aina yoyote ya huduma / msaada hadi siku.

Mbali ya hoja zilizotajwa hapo juu, pia mkoa inajulikana kama nyumba ya biashara ya ngono na biashara ya binadamu. Zote hizi hisia Mkurugenzi Mtendaji CCDO kwa fedha mfuko wake kwa ajili ya kuanzisha NGO hii inajulikana Watoto Shirika la Huduma ya Maendeleo (CCDO) kwa makusudi na mwisho watoto umaskini kwa kuanzishwa kwa mafunzo ya ICT kwa watoto wote makazi yao katika hatari zaidi katika mkoa wa Iringa na kamati za kutengeneza watoto ni wajibu wa usimamizi wa NGO na wakati huo huo NGO ni wajibu wa kutoa MVC wote alidai masikini. Hata hivyo, mtoto ukahaba na unyonyaji bado kuendelea kuishi na kwa kweli ni kuongeza zaidi ya miaka.

Tangu CCDO ni imara, Shirika alikuwa imeweza kuhamasisha kompyuta 210 kutoka kwa wahisani mbalimbali tu kukuza ICT mafunzo kwa MVC (mazingira magumu zaidi watoto), ushonaji mafunzo, vijana wa mazingira ya mafunzo kwa njia ya upandaji miti na kufanya mizinga nyuki kama sehemu ya kupunguza umaskini kwa vijana . Kati ya wafadhili ambao zinazotolewa kompyuta CCDO ni Kompyuta 4 Afrika (Uingereza), World Kompyuta Exchange (USA) na Global mashirika ya Outreach. Sasa sisi alishuhudia idadi ya MVC wasiojulikana ambao walikuja mara nyingi kusajili kwetu kwa kuzingatia mafunzo haya.

Mwingine mafanikio yaliyopatikana kwa CCDO ni kununua mashine ya kushona kwa ajili ya mradi wajane na wajane ni kupewa kipaumbele cha kwanza kwa kuajiriwa katika mipango yetu kwa makusudi ili waache huduma nicely yatima yao kupendwa taabu katika makazi yao. Mradi huu iko katika eneo la ndani ya Manispaa ya Mshindo ambayo sare za shule na style nyingine nguo za viwandani.
