Women against Poverty and HIV/AIDS is non govermental organization estableshed in 2005 under act no 24of 2002 under ministry of community development gender and children. And come into force on 22nd january 2008. Its heaquarters is found in mbezi, kinondoni district in dar salaam.

The organisation contain group of people with different professional skills having common goal who came together as society with the aim to fight and identifying the factoctors contributing to poor health and economic status
