Mapendekezo Kuhusu Jinsi ya Kufanya Utafiti
Hivi sasa Envaya iko kwenye mchakato wakishirikiana na mashirika jijini Dar es Salaam kutoa utafiti kuhusu mafuriko yaliotokea Dar es Salaam mwezi disemba mwaka jana. Yafuatayo ni maoni na mapendekezo yaliyojitokeza wakati wa semina iliyoitishwa na Envaya tarehe 18/01/12 na 19/01/12.
- Unapoenda kufanya utafiti Siyo lazima uende na laptop
- Lazima uonyeshe mahusiano, usijifanye mwandishi, uonyeshe ubinadamu na ujenge urafiki
- Ni vizuri kuwahusisha viongozi wa serikali za mitaa na wajumbe wa nyumba kumi
- Jieleze vizuri mmetoka wapi na mmekuja kufanya nini, watanzania ni waelewa watashirikiana na wewe mkijitambulisha vizuri
- Ni vizuri kila asasi ikiwa inatazama lengo la asasi yake wakati inauliza yale maswali husika.
- Sio vizuri kuahidi chochote, waeleze ukweli kwamba hii ni tafiti shirikishi yenye lengo la kuwasaidia jamii kwa ujumla.
- Kila mtu ananjia zake zakupata na kumshawishi mtu anayemhoji
- Msiogope kuuliza maswali mengine ambayo hayajaandikwa kwenye fomu ya utafiti
- Kuna maeneo megine kabisa ambayo hayajaongelewa ambayo yameadhirika sana na mafuriko, kama: Kariakoo, Tabata, Mbagala, Temeke. Ni lazima na haya maeneo yawakilishwe kwasababu vyombo vya habari vimeyasahau kabisa.
- Lengo la utafiti ni kutoa habari ambayo haijulikani.
- Pia ni muhimu kuzingatia watu wanapoenda au wanapohamishwa siyo tu walipotoka.
- Msisahau kwamba lengo la kufanya utafiti na kutoa habari ni kujiwezesha kuleta maendelo (empower ourselves to bring about change).

Suggestions on How to Do Research Currently Envaya is in a process in collaboration with agencies in Dar es Salaam to provide research on floods Dar es Salaam yaliotokea month december last year. - You must show a relationship, do not assume the author, show humanity and build friendships

- It's good to each organization as regards the goal of his organization when it asks the relevant questions.
- It's better not promising anything, explain the fact that this is a collaborative research aimed at helping the community at large.
