ESS foundation is an NGO dealing with Essential social services in Tanzania with its headquarters based in Dar-es-salaam with capacity and social network to operate throughout the country. It was established in the year 2013 by Dr. Elly F. Ndyetabura, an experienced public health expert, a retire United Nations official and Team leader for HIV and Gender of UNDP in Tanzania.

This NGO is dealing with charitable activities in the society focusing on primary health care, HIV and AIDS, education, water and sanitation, gender, youth and women empowerment, good governance and other social utility oriented services.

VISION:

The provision of competent quality services to the society in different environment as to satisfy community needs at maximum level and affordable cost and to strengthen the general development of the society through community participation and capacity enhancement.

MISSION:

The assurance of quality, effective and efficient services to the society at maximum level and affordable cost but also understand community social problem and of different social groups within society and to assist them to find their solution.

“To make sure that Tanzania is better place for living for all, especial the poor, marginalized people, youth, women and children through our commitment to serve and charity services within our society”

OBJECTIVES:

To promote, support and strengthen the health of Tanzanians, especially mothers and children in rural areas and enhancement of community capacity to live healthily lives and to be free from communicable and non-communicable diseases.

To support and strengthen the national response to HIV and AIDS by promoting preventive services among youth, key populations and marginalized and vulnerable children and supporting PLHIV to access care and treatment services.
