GGE was established and registered in 2002 by the ministry for home affairs as a religious NGO[1] dealing with moral focused integrated community development.

One of the issues responsible for moral decay in families and communities is the misuses and/or abuse of the marriage institution. Many youths today plunge themselves into this institution without proper orientation resulting into its impingement.

Besides, the institution has been reduced from its vital procreative role to economic gains and/or recreational ends.

The outcome of both cases has been promulgation and spread of sexually transmitted infections including HIV[2]/AIDS[3], unplanned births, separation, divorces, street children, family strife etc.

Something has to be done to realign the youth and those already married so that this sacred institution is reinstated to its original role.

GGE has prepared a package intended to orient teenagers at the reproductive age and couples who have announced their intentions to wed on optimal and mutually cordial marital relations. Besides, there are tailor made counseling packages for those who are already in wedlock, separatees and/or divorcees.

GGE is the facilitator. Resource persons will be drawn from the government, religious institutions and independent family life counselors.

As the GGE philosophy of religious impartiality goes, venues will be selected at as neutral areas as possible so that a mix of all religious backgrounds is enabled
