According to AMICAALL; The World Health Orhanization (WHO) has created a hands on tool to assist women in protecting themselves against the HIV/AIDS virus. This new tool was field tested in five countries namely Belize, Honduras, Nicaragus, Sudan and the United Republic of Tanzania. This new tool basically aims those planning and implementing AIDS programs in the health sector to better understand the links between gender inqualities and HIV/AIDS related issues. It also aims to raise awareness of how these inequalities influence women`s access to, incorporation of, understanding and experience with such programs and services.
