·        BACKGROUND OF YOSREE:

Youth organization for social rehabilitation and economic empowerment (YOSREE) formed in 2012 by a group of 10 persons who were intimately sympathized with poor sexual reproductive health service to adolescents and risk behaviors practice by youth group and ever – increasing unemployment gap among youth graduates and school levers in Tanzanian Economy.

The organization, which is an NGO_s and Non-profit making organization, become legally registered on 7^th October, 2013 under the Non-Governmental organizations Act 24 of 2002 – under section 12 (2) by the Ministry of Social Development, Gender and Children.

            Youth organization for Social Rehabilitation and Economic Empowerment is   an independent Tanzania Non-Governmental Organization with Registration No: 00NGO/00006595.

•                   HISTORICAL BACK GROUND OF TANZANIA’S YOUTH:

The Tanzania Youth people comprise 70% of the Tanzania population.  These young people are also the most vulnerable in either HIV infection caused by the environment in which they live, learn and as a result of the behavior they adopt as forced to adopt because of social, cultural and economic factors.

The Youth of today will become Tanzania’s work force thinkers and parents.  Therefore understanding their knowledge, altitudes and behavior and the challenges they face is critical.

Yosree is assisting in developing focused interventions to appropriately address identified gaps, risk behavior and other challenges
