One of the founders of SGE-FOUNDATION used to be employed with an organization that was dealing with similar beneficiaries. Through working with that organization developed curiosity of doing similar community works for he realized that some of the special groups like elders are not privileged by most of the NGOs.

Moreover, in the field, he witnessed several circumstances that face special groups, eventually spirit of thinking about helping them developed gradually. Therefore formation of SGE-FOUNDATION is due to witnessed phenomena that were not yet tackled by many NGOs working with special groups like children.

In 2013 an idea was shared to a group of 5 colleagues, then together agreed to start taking part of advocating for special groups rights and better life. In 2014 founder members started to undertake situational analysis whereby they came up with a stand of helping special groups under umbrella called THE FOUNDATION FOR SPECIAL GROUPS EMPOWERMENT.

Registration process of the foundation is on progress, so that desired goals and objectives can be shared worldwide for collective efforts of helping people who need special attention.
