Water Sources Management in Gunyoda Ward in Mbulu DistrictMiDA Tanzania in Collaboration with Vienna University of Technology VUT did a Baseline Survey in Mbulu district and particulary in Gunyoda Village. The team from MiDA Tanzania and Vienna University of Technology did a baseline survey and compiled a report which is available in hard copy. The team of 12 students from various fields of study participated in the survey. Three proffessors guided the study and local goverment officials from Mbulu district were involved in the whole process of the baseline study. The major findings will be posted in this website soon. MiDA Tanzania has currently submitted a proposal to The foundation for Civil SocietyThe Foundation for Civil Society for the training of the Water Users Commitees in Four villages of Gunyoda Ward. Water Resourse Management and Environmental issues are core issues and have tremendous effects to the lives of the people around the whole world. The Water Commitees at the village levels do not have adequate knowlege on Water sources management and Tanzania National Water Policy. Currently the participatory field work is being carried out in number of villages in Mbulu districts so as to come up with the appropriate water resourse management programs that suits the community in Mbulu district. Water Sources Management Project had 2 outcomes and 3 outputs as listed below:-

Contract Signing MiDA Tanzania has signed a contract with the FCS and is ready to kickstart the project by early January 2012. More information about the implementation of the project will be posted on this website as activities are implemented Implementation of the project MiDA Tanzania has implemented the project in four villages of Gunyoda village.
