19th May 2013 was the candle light day. The event gave the YPLHIV and other participants the opportunity to commemorate the lives of friends, parents, brothers, sisters, and children lost due to HIV/AIDS. The theme of the 30th International AIDS Candlelight Memorial was “In solidarity”. On this day, for the 30th time, grassroots organizations worldwide commemorated International AIDS Candlelight Memorial. Communities raised awareness around HIV, stood together with people living with HIV and remembered the loved ones lost to HIV and AIDS.
