The mission of MTCD is to enable, empower and enhance the chemistry teachers and students by linking them with development opportunities and the social components necessary to alleviate the lack of chemistry based professionals.

Through this mission MTCD promotes teachers and chemistry students programs

MTCD is non-governmental, non-profit community based organization dedicated to the empowerment of chemistry students and teachers and the nation of Tanzania.  Our overall goal is to build the capacity of vulnerable groups so they are able to liberate themselves and overcome obstacles hindering their chemistry development, as well as the community and nation as a whole. To accomplish this organization relies on teachers and chemistry students programs where communities are taught to understand the value of chemistry investments in youth from the teenage stages of life and obtain the critical skills necessary for positive teenage development.

Our belief

We are guided by two key beliefs:  (1) The developing nation depends on the education, development and skills of its citizens, and (2) the foundation of teenage is built in early teenage. These two beliefs drive MTCD in aiming to support and develop young children not just for their own sake, but for the sake of Tanzania and the future generations of its citizens.  It is through this way that MTCD undergoes its primary activities and strives for quality, affordable and accessible programs and services for chemistry. We advice the health sectors, agricultural sectors, mining, tourism, education, environmental conservation, and other sectors to help with us MTCD so as to create more chemistry based professionals.

Ujumbe wa MTCD ni kuwawezesha, kuwezesha na kuongeza walimu na wanafunzi wa kemia kwa kuwaunganisha na fursa za maendeleo ya kijamii na sehemu muhimu ya kupunguza ukosefu wa wataalamu wa kemia ya msingi.

Kwa njia ya ujumbe huu MTCD inakuza walimu na wanafunzi kemia mipango

MTCD ni yasiyo ya kiserikali, mashirika yasiyo ya faida ya kijamii shirika wakfu kwa kuwawezesha wanafunzi na walimu na kemia ya taifa ya Tanzania. Lengo letu kuu ni kujenga uwezo wa makundi ili waweze kujikomboa wenyewe na kuondokana na vikwazo kuzuia kemia maendeleo yao, pamoja na jamii na taifa kwa ujumla. Kukamilisha hili shirika unategemea walimu na wanafunzi kemia mipango ambako jamii mafunzo ya jinsi ya kuelewa thamani ya uwekezaji katika kemia ya vijana wenye umri mdogo kutoka hatua ya maisha na kupata ujuzi muhimu muhimu kwa maendeleo chanya wenye umri mdogo.

Imani yetu

Sisi ni kuongozwa na imani mbili muhimu: (1) taifa zinazoendelea inategemea maendeleo ya elimu, na ujuzi wa raia wake, na (2) ya msingi ya vijana wenye umri mdogo ni kujengwa katika mapema. Imani hizi mbili gari MTCD katika lengo la kusaidia na kuendeleza watoto wadogo si tu kwa ajili yao wenyewe, bali kwa ajili ya Tanzania na vizazi vijavyo ya wananchi wake. Ni kupitia njia hii kwamba MTCD undergoes shughuli zake za msingi na inafanya kwa ajili ya mipango bora, rahisi na kupatikana na huduma kwa ajili ya kemia. Sisi ushauri wa sekta ya afya, sekta ya kilimo, madini, utalii, elimu, uhifadhi wa mazingira, na sekta nyingine kwa msaada na sisi MTCD ili kujenga zaidi wataalamu wa kemia ya msingi.
