Community Salvation Organization(COSAO) is a Non-Government, non-profit Organization established since 2012 by Community Patriots who are eager to translate their knowledges into practical for reviving the lost hopes and dreams of the marginalized groups in the community in different spheres of life.

COSAO members has played a great role in support Most Vulnerable Children Committees to conduct resource mapping and mobilization, establishing community based projects for supporting Most Vulnerable Children(MVC) in Lindi Municipal. Also linked Small scale business women with stakeholders like VICOBA Sustainable Development Agency with their 5 to 20 program supported by Coca Cola. Also COSAO supported MVC and other marginalized groups through referrals and linkages to several staholders and partiner organizations.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION

The Community Salvation Organization has been established   in order to achieve the following objectives:

1. To facilitates community capacity building towards self-reliance.
2. To assist and guide community’s morality, equality, human rights, children protection and opposing Gender Based Violation (GBV).
3. To bring about better understanding on the means of eliminating poverty and immorality in the community.
4. To assist and guide Community to practice the environmental conservation activities in their surroundings.
5. Supporting Government efforts in providing community services which are satisfactory to the community members.

6. COSAO shall establish/implement any other objectives that will be decided by the general assembly corresponding to the mission and vision of COSAO.
