ABOUT CEDO Christian Education and Development Organization (CEDO) was registered 24/06/2010, under Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002, with registration No ooNGO/oooo3928, and Operate in Tanzania Mainland; According with its governing Constitution. Vision StatementTo see that we have the capacity to provide quality sustainable services to the community without discrimination to reduce, ignorance, poverty and hunger to improve social well-being. Mission StatementCEDO that provides sustainable social services of education, economic, and healthy to reduce poverty and hunger for enhancing the quality of life and social well-being of Tanzanians. GoalTo improve the living standard and enhance capacity to vulnerable groups such as women, girls, orphans, widows and disables by providing social services and economic environment to access basic human rights for sustainable community development. ObjectivesIn order for CEDO vision, mission and goal to be realized, the following objectives will be pursued:
CEDO ETHICS CODE CEDO promises to keep faith to implement the following values RIGHT:- We strive to ensure that our services are non-discriminatory and comply with the principles of equality and that is the direction of our activities. RESPECT:- Promote and develop the culture of Tanzania where all those we contacted them to get our services we will be courteous and respectful to them at all. QUALITY:- We will continue our reputation based on performance and a culture of excellence dedicated, and expertise, we will strive to achieve and demonstrate the highest standards of reliability, versatility and performance of a high standard. STUDY:- We will build an environment that they value learning and sharing experiences with other CEDO GOVERNANCE :- The CEDO is governed by the members, the Board of Directors and Secretariat. Members:-Members are the highest authority in the CEDO and choose the members of the Board of Directors, as well as approving the long term plans of the organization. The member work mainly at the AGM Board of Directors: - The Board has five to seven members, who provide regular guidance to the work of the CEDO. They approve regulation changes, financial reports and plans of the organization before presenting them at the AGM. Secretariat: - The implementation of the core functions of the CEDO is vested in its Secretariat led by the Executive Director who reports to the Board of Directors in governance matters. Additionally the Executive Director maintains a relationship with the Development. TARGET GROUPS (Target population) CEDO Beneficiaries are youths, orphans vulnerable children,Women and children, people with Disabilities, Prisoners and their family, Elders, Students, and people living with HIV.
