Tumaini La Mbele is a non profit organisation, started on 2007and  2009 was once registered as the community based organization(CBO).

Our oganization target is street children and the most high vulnerable children who doesnt have the homes and parents/gardians to take a good care of them.

We started with 17 street kids at Babati town who were sleeping in the garbage dump near the local market,Tumaini, one of the co-founders was once bypassing arround the market and find those boys in a terrible conditions,others were very sick,dirty,injured and very hungry"my heart was so brocken, and started friendship with them, so every sunday in a week i will vissit them and bring them food and medicines" said Tumaini

These street kids had no where to sleep and made the sooty dump their home,as you can see from the photo how sooty and dusty the place was...they were sleeping in the dump during rainy season,sunny season, cold seasons every day, (for them,the place ment a lot )they valued that place so much and named it"JUMBA LA DHAHABU"(THE HOUSE OF GOLD)..

So these children had to work hard in the market(carrying luggeges) with low wages,so they can earn 500 Tsh a day but that is not enogh for a meal...

SOCIETY PERCEPTION

The sociaty had made a gap between them and these children,because others developed different bad habits including the use of drug,roberry,involved in waged sex so no one would help them..it needed a great heart to take a step towards changing their lives back to normal life,make them acceptable,bring back the hopes for their good vissions, and make them believe that they are people out of other people...

With the interviews and reseach we made, we realised that most of them needs to go to school,for they believe that school will give them knowladge and knowladge is power, so they will be able to overcome their own social problem through knowladge.

So we started the school projects and find a home for them, and foster parents just to make sure that we have them in the safe places/homes

We impact our  beneficiaries lives through main four areas,.

1.Economically

2.Socially,

3.Spiritually and

4.Cognitivelly

We build them with the capacity to economic,social, cognitive and spiritual affairs inorder to meet all their social economical needs and make them become acceptable and helpfull members of the society

So in those four main areas we are dealing with,we have trained our beneficiaries and build them with the capacity to involve themselves into different social economic activities,they are now self employed people,can meet their basic needs
