Union of Non-Governmental Organizations (UNGO), leading regional NGO Network in Morogoro, Tanzania invites applications from qualified persons for the following positions to be stationed at Morogoro.
THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
The Executive Secretary of the organization will be the Chief administrator of the organization.
Do all such things that are necessary for the achievement of the objectives of the organization.
Executive Secretary will be responsible for the appointment of support staff in consultation with and the subsequent approval of the Board of Directors.
The Executive Secretary will be the accounting officer and will ensure that the funds received are properly recorded and expended in accordance with the objectives of the program.
The Executive Secretary will be the custodian of organization assets.
The Executive Secretary will prepare plan and appropriate annual budget for the approval of the Board of Directors and Annual General Meeting.
The Executive Secretary will cause the accounts to be audited annually by a reputable firm recommended by the Board and approved by the Annual General Meeting.
The Executive Secretary will cause proper books of accounts to be kept.
The Executive Secretary will write the minutes of the general meetings and the Board of Directors.
The Executive Secretary will ensure proper management of the library and data Bank of the organization
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE.
The Executive Secretary of the organization is required to be holder of Degree in Social sciences, development studies or related qualification
Experience not less than five years (5) in senior post and in respective field
Well fascinating and with skills on OD /Community Driven Development approaches, methodologies and strategies.
Experience of working with different stakeholders including government institutions and development partners.
Computer literacy is a must.
REMUNERATION
An attractive remuneration package will be provided according to qualification and experience.
