Tawawami Community Health Program

Introduction:
Tawawami Health Project believes that all children of need and vulnerable youth of the community have the right to proper physical and emotional health. Excellence in health is essential to the development and enhancement of a child’s cognition, physical, and social welfare. Insufficient healthcare, poor nutrition, lack of essential provisions and educational stimulation can have severe consequences to a child’s potential.

In the Tawawami community, the majority of the children that would be served at the project are orphaned, and they are fostered in a relative’s home. Often the environment in the home is not favorable to the child’s well being. Aside from the traumatic loss of a parent due to HIV/AIDS, the child is subject to abuse, child labor, the sharing of a bed with 4-5 individuals in the foster home of a young stepmother, and or elderly grandparent(s).

The Tawawami Health Project will be proactive in educating the entire community. Working cohesively, the goal is to reduce mortality rates that plague the community.

Active participants in the project will learn alternatives that will lead to healthier choices and brighter futures. The program will combat the issue of HIV/AIDS transmission, the segregation of children with HIV/AIDS, and allay a myriad of issues that grossly affect the child and their community. In addition, the program will make valiant efforts to support the foster homes in order to provide a healthier environment for the development of the children in their home.

Mission:

The mission of the Tawawami Health Project is to enhance the quality of living of the children and the community at large.   The project will allay health myths and concerns, and provide holistic and realistic alternatives to develop one’s health in the community.

The Tawawami Health Project’s innovative programs will improve the overall health conditions of the community that it serves 

Objectives:

1. To promote and enhance nutritional health in the community.
2. To provide early childhood education in a nurturing and safe environment.
3. To provide quality health education and services to all participants of the project.
4.  Engage the participants in cooperative learning activities to enhance their understanding, involvement, and to provide an enjoyable atmosphere to learn. 
5. To provide housing for orphans and vulnerable youth whose home environment is not providing a healthy atmosphere for the proper development of the child.

Outputs of the Project:

1. Improvement of the participant’s health will increase.
2. An improved environment for childcare will be provided.
3. Affordable quality health, life skills, and educational services will be a provided to all members of the community.
4. Participants will develop in a safe environment free of the anxiety and fear of abuse.
5. Participants will attend a facility that is inviting, attractive, and favorable to their educational development.
6. Varied projects will allay and prevent the transmission of diseases that could have been prevented with early intervention.

Project Activities:

1. Provide a nutritional meal program for the participants of the project.
2. Enhance and monitor the sanitary and living conditions of the children’s residences.
3. Working collaboratively with the public school’s health education and expanding it at the project’s facility.
4. Construct housing for orphans at risk in the community.
5. Make available essential medicine for varied illnesses, and to develop a health clinic facility for care and distribution under the supervision of a license health coordinator.

Project’s Imputs:

1. Dedicated and educated administration.
2. Nutritional meal program.
3. Essential needs for the child; proper clothing (uniform), housing, and medicine.
4. License medical personnel and educators who can provide quality training.
5. All materials needed for a housing project, care, and educational facility.
6. Sufficient medicine and medical care for all members of the community.
7. Incorporate a volunteer program and develop relations with an organization who is proactive in meeting the health needs of the developing community.

Tawawami Mpango wa Afya ya Jamii

Utangulizi:
Tawawami Mradi wa Afya anaamini kuwa watoto wote wa haja na vijana wanaoishi katika mazingira magumu ya jamii kuwa na haki ya afya bora ya kimwili na kihisia. Ubora katika afya ni muhimu kwa maendeleo na kukuza utambuzi wa mtoto, kimwili, na ustawi wa jamii. Hakuna huduma za afya, lishe duni, ukosefu wa masharti muhimu na ya kusisimua ya elimu inaweza kuwa na madhara makubwa kwa uwezo wa mtoto.

Katika jamii Tawawami, wengi wa watoto kwamba yatafikiwa katika mradi ni yatima, na wao ni kukuzwa katika nyumba jamaa wa. Mara nyingi katika mazingira ya nyumbani ni jambo zuri kwa vile mtoto kuwa. Mbali na hasara kiwewe wa mzazi kutokana na VVU / UKIMWI, mtoto ni chini ya unyanyasaji kazi, mtoto, kugawana ya kitanda na watu binafsi 4-5 nyumbani malezi ya mama wa kambo vijana, na au wazee grandparent (s) .

Afya Tawawami Mradi wa kuwa makini katika kuelimisha jamii nzima. Kazi cohesively, lengo ni kupunguza viwango vya vifo vya kuwa balaa katika jamii.

Active washiriki katika mradi kujifunza njia mbadala ambayo kusababisha uchaguzi na afya njema na hatima Brighter. Programu ya kupambana na suala la VVU / UKIMWI maambukizi, ubaguzi ya watoto wenye VVU / UKIMWI, na kufuta elfu kumi ya masuala ambayo flagrant kuathiri mtoto na jamii yao. Aidha, mpango wa kufanya juhudi mashujaa kusaidia malezi majumbani ili kutoa mazingira na afya njema kwa ajili ya maendeleo ya watoto katika nyumba zao.

Mission:

Ujumbe wa Mradi wa Afya Tawawami ni kuimarisha ubora wa maisha ya watoto na jamii kwa ujumla. Mradi kufuta imani potofu za afya na wasiwasi, na kutoa njia mbadala ya jumla na ya kweli ya kuendeleza afya ya mmoja katika jamii.

Malengo:

1. Kukuza na kuimarisha afya ya lishe katika jamii.
2. Kutoa elimu ya utotoni katika kulea na mazingira salama.
3. Kutoa elimu ya afya na ubora wa huduma kwa washiriki wote wa mradi huo.
4.   Kushirikisha washiriki katika shughuli za vyama vya ushirika kujifunza kuimarisha ufahamu wao, ushiriki, na kutoa anga kufurahisha kujifunza.  
5. Ya kutoa nyumba kwa ajili ya watoto yatima na wanaoishi katika mazingira magumu vijana ambao mazingira ya nyumbani si kutoa anga afya kwa ajili ya maendeleo sahihi ya mtoto.

Matokeo ya Mradi:

1. Uboreshaji wa afya ya mshiriki itaongezeka.
2. mazingira bora kwa ajili ya huduma ya watoto itapatikana.
3. Nafuu quality afya, stadi za maisha, na huduma za elimu itakuwa zinazotolewa na watu wote katika jamii.
4. Washiriki kuendeleza katika mazingira salama ya bure ya wasiwasi na hofu ya kunyanyaswa.
5. Washiriki kuhudhuria kituo kwamba ni kuwakaribisha, kuvutia, na mazuri kwa maendeleo yao ya kielimu.
6. Miradi mbalimbali itakuwa allay na kuzuia maambukizi ya magonjwa ambayo yangeweza kuzuiwa kwa kuingilia kati mapema.

Mradi wa Shughuli:

1. Kutoa lishe unga wa mpango kwa washiriki wa mradi.
2. Kuimarisha na kufuatilia hali ya usafi na ya maisha ya makazi ya watoto.
3. Kufanya kazi kwa kushirikiana na elimu ya afya ya umma wa shule na kupanua yake katika kituo cha mradi.
4. Kujenga makazi kwa ajili ya watoto yatima katika hatari katika jamii.
5. Kufanya inapatikana muhimu dawa kwa magonjwa mbalimbali, na kuendeleza kliniki ya afya ya kituo kwa ajili ya utunzaji na usambazaji chini ya usimamizi wa mratibu wa afya ya leseni.

Mradi Imputs:

1. Ari na elimu ya utawala.
2. Lishe mlo wa mpango.
3. Muhimu kwa ajili ya mahitaji ya mtoto; sahihi mavazi (sare), nyumba, na dawa.
4. Leseni ya matibabu ya wafanyakazi na waelimishaji ambao wanaweza kutoa mafunzo ya ubora.
5. Nyenzo zote zinazohitajika kwa ajili ya mradi wa nyumba, huduma, na kituo cha elimu.
6. Kutosha na dawa ya matibabu kwa wanachama wote wa jumuiya.
7. Kuingiza mpango wa kujitolea na kuendeleza mahusiano na shirika ambaye ni makini katika kufikia mahitaji ya afya ya jamii zinazoendelea.
