MED Yaanza Mchakato wa kupata Usajili wa Kudumu. (Na Prince Kimaro)

Asasi ya Marafiki wa Elimu Dodoma (MED) imeingia katika mchakato wa kupata usajili wa NGO ili kuongeza ufanisi katika kazi zake baada ya kufanya kazi kama CBO kwa kipindi cha miaka mitatu.

Mratibu wa MED na mwanaharakati wa Elimu na Maendeleo Mkoani Dodoma Bw. Davis Makundi amesema ana uhakika kwa kazi zilizofanywa na MED katika hatua ya CBO; zinatosheleza sasa kujikita katika hatua ya juu zaidi ya kuwa NGO ili kufanya kazi katika eneo kubwa zaidi Mkoani Dodoma.

Bw.  Makundi pichani alieleza kuwa anajua kuwa eneo alilochagua ni gumu na lina changamoto nyingi ambazo zitahitaji umakini katika kuzikabili na kufikia malengo ya uwepo wa asasi hii. "Sekta ya Elimu; suala la Demokrasia; changamoto ya Utawala bora na haki za makundi mbalimbali wakiwemo vijana hasa wanafunzi, wanawake, wenye changamoto za ulemavu nk tutazifanyia kazi kwa umakini mkubwa ili kurejesha faraja kwa makundi hayo.

Bwana Makundi amesema MED itasajiliwa kama NGO itakayo fanya kazi zake katika Mkoa wa Dodoma na kujihusisha na uhamasishaji katika kuboresha Elimu, Demokrasia, Utawala Bora, haki za wanafunzi, kuimarisha mawasiliano baina ya jamii na serikali pamoja na  kupambana na umaskini miongoni mwa jamii. "Kufanya kazi kwenye NGO ni kutumikia umma; ni lazima tujitoe na kuweka rehani maisha yetu kwa ajili ya Taifa" Alisema.

Akizungumzia suala la mchakato wa Katiba mpya ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Makundi amesema suala la Katiba ni la watanzania wote bila kujali kiwango chao cha Elimu, taaluma, umri, hali ya kifedha na hata kiafya; hivyo mjadala wa katiba uwe huru na kila mtu apate nafasi ya kutoa maoni yake bila kuwepo kwa kipingamizi.

Asasi ya MED imekuwa ikiendesha mijadala, mikutano ya majadiliano, kuanzisha Club za Marafiki wa Elimu katika shule za Msingi na sekondari ambazo zimekuwa zikijadili masuala mbalimbali yanayo wakabili wanafunzi katika shule zao.

Shughuli za Marafiki wa Elimu Dodoma zimeongeza chachu ya harakati katika maeneo mengi ya mji wa Dodoma hasa kwa wanafunzi wa shule za msingi na sekondari ambao hivi sasa wanaendesha club zao kutetea haki za wanafunzi, maendeleo ya shule, masuala ya demokrasia, utawala bora na maendeleo ya jamii katika maeneo yao.

Friends of the Educational Institutions of Dodoma (WITH) has entered a process of NGO registration in order to increase efficiency in its operations after working as a CBO for the past three years.

WITH the Coordinator of Education and Human rights activist Mr. Dodoma Region. Davis said group has made and guaranteed to work WITH the stage of CBO, meet now concentrate on the highest step of that NGO to work in a larger area Dodoma Region.

Mr. Groups stated that the picture knows that the area was chosen is difficult and has many challenges that will require attention in the deal and achieve the goals of this organization's existence. "Education Sector, the question of democracy: challenges of governance and rights of different groups including young people, especially students, women, the challenges of disability, etc. We will work carefully strives to restore comfort to those groups.

Lord said groups like NGO WITH itasajiliwa that would work in Dodoma Region and involvement in improving education and awareness, democracy, good governance, the rights of students, improve communication between community and government together to combat poverty among the communities. "Working in a NGO serving the public and must submit to mortgage our lives for the nation," he said.

Pointing to the process of the new Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania Groups has said the issue of the Constitution is all Tanzanians regardless of their level of education, profession, age, financial status and health, so discussion of the constitution to be free and every man should opportunity to give his opinion without being a barrier.

WITH organization has been running debates, discussion meetings, setting up the Club of Friends of Education in Primary and secondary schools that have a range of issues zikijadili bills which were pupils in their schools.

Activities of the Friends of Education Dodoma worsened yeast movements in many parts of the city of Dodoma, especially for students of primary and secondary schools who now runs club their rights of students, school development, issues of democracy, good governance and development communities in their areas.
