The Organization for Rural Self-Help Initiatives (ORSHI) is a local Non-Governmental,
not-for-profit Organization that seeking to promote self development process that
removes the causes of underdevelopment and poverty, through education, support and
participation in Tanzania.

ORSHI works hard directly with communities in remote rural areas of Tanzania to find sustainable solutions to overcome poverty and injustices. Many of these rural communities are very isolated without reliable roads, electricity, clean and safe water, schools or clinics/dispensaries.
