1.      Organization background:

Community Support Initiatives – Tanzania (abbreviated as COSITA) is a local non – profit making organization located in Babati Township. It informally started its work since January 2010 and was officially registered under NGO Act, 2002 in December 2010 with the objective to improve the livelihood of poor, marginalized and vulnerable communities in Tanzania Mainland. Due to the scarcity of funds and human resources, the CSO currently operates in Babati, Mbulu and Hanang districts.

2.      Post advertised and job title: COSITA is an equal opportunity employer; we are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated young woman/ man to fill to vacant position in our organization titled Project Nutritionist Officer 

3.      Post location: COSITA Sub-office in Mbulu district under the project tilted “Mbulu Mwanzo Bora Nutrition”

4.      Candidate’s required attributes:

• Background education in Food & Nutrition, Human Nutrition,  community development, sociology or nutritional related field of study
• Diploma as minimum and bachelor as maximum level of education
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working with families/carers
• Highly developed integrity and moral character
• At least 1 year experience in a project(s) implementation
• Good writing and communication skills
• Good knowledge of the management of projects financed by donors;
•  Competent in usage of computer programs
• Ability to write and present reports
