APAT major objectives include:

1.  To improve access to quality healthcare services, particularly Reproductive health services access to the underserved and underdeveloped areas.

2.  Promotion of gender equality and woman development

3.  Promotion of human rights equality and national unity.

4. Promotion of national development policies, civic education and constitution awareness for national development.

5.  To develop innovative outreach programs for Primary Health Care (PHC) with emphasis on the special needs of the youth, children and women.

6. Water supply, Health and Sanitation

Major Activities includes:

• Sexual reproductive health information outreaches to in and out of school adolescents
• Fighting child labor in the orange agricultural fields, business centers and transport sectors in Muheza District, Tanga.
• Empowering adolescents girls and young women on enterprenourship skills
• Policy advocacy and human right development
• Promotion of menstural management among the adolescents girls
• Production and disrtibution of reusable sanitary towels to marginalised adolescents and teenage mothers.
• Advocacy on martanal health for the rural pregnant adolescents girls and teenage mothers in the rural
