The organisation was founded in June 2013 by young farmers of Chakulu village.  It started with 12 members of whom 6 were men while the left were ladies.  It was registered with Uvinza District Council on 30th of October as a community Based Organisation (CBO) with registration number UVC/CBO/007/2013
