Our Board

Kivulini’s Board of Directors

In addition to ensuring that Kivulini remains committed to its vision of empowering communities to break free of domestic violence, Kivulini’s Board of Directors provide strategic oversight and make decisions regarding all Kivulini policies. Board members assess and approve strategic plans, work plans and audited reports, as well as assisting the organisation in fundraising.

Board members generally serve a term of 2 years, which is then renewable for an additional year.  Our Board members come from a variety of backgrounds.  Members draw upon their experiences working with other NGOs as well as in the fields of health, law, business and finance to inform their work with Kivulini.
