My name is Shija Clement Kinyata and I am Executive Director with the Hope Relief and Orphan Village situated at Lugeye village, Magu District in Mwanza region. We are dealing with youth, children and widows who are the most in need.

We are fighting against the crime of :

*child abuse based on traditional cultural grounds, such as child marriages and female genital mutilation ( FGM). 

*thousands of children work in licensed and unlicensed small-scale gold mines. eg Kamaha District.

*children trafficking for the purpose of forced labour and commercial sexual exploitation. Trafficking often involves family members, friends, or brokers who promise rural families jobs or assistance with education in the urban areas such as Mwanza. Children are trafficked for domestic services, and girls are trafficked for commercial sexual exploitation. 

 

#BACKGROUND:

The Hope Relief and Orphan Village ( HROV), the years ago people across the country recognised the importance of endowing with personal over haul to the community especially child development in manual aid with other civic-minded, good moral character and reputation person through voluntary organisation after glimpse the whole bunch of problem that child one facing today.

 

The most important aspect of solving these problems faced by children, there is need for children to have a good development policy. 

 

Hence this led to the formation of the organisation called the

"Hope Relief and Orphan Village" as for a line of work within the field of child development that is non profit making, trade, non religious, non political and non governmental Organization. 

 

HROV is a registered Community Based Organisation (CBO) under the Community Based Organisation Act. with registration number MDC/ CBO/ 629 accessible by the Registrar of Magu District Council on 13th day of May, 2014. 

 

We are looking to raise amount of money $ 3000 to participate in the Hope Relief and Orphan Village's project called "SUPPORT THE YOUNG PEOPLE'S EMPLOYMENT PROCESS. 

 

THE Hope Relief and Orphan Village has mobilised a large group of youth, children and women reprinting various groups from different villages in the ward that is Kahangara, Mwamanga, Kitongo sima and Isangijo. Its people are living in extremely poverty. They have no reliable social safety networks on hand to depend upon in order to adequately manage the risk to which they daily expose. 

 

We are working with the orphans, widows, street children and the disabled as well as those suffering from the consequences of HIV/AIDS very keen to support vulnerable and unemployed young people here in Magu villages. 

 

We commit however to use your donation in the appropriate area and invest the funds received in a manner to ensure that it can have the most impact. 

 

The importance of the project is:

*To rescue victims and prevent further child exploration, HROV invests in Education and gives parents the opportunity to increase their income ( education & increased income).

 

*In addition, we fight against the traditional subordinate position of girls by advocating for girl's rights, like the right to have a proper education. Together with the local authorities we build a stronger child protection framework to ensure that children can grow up in a safer environment. 

 

*There are children who are working in the artisanal gold mines of Tanzania, these child labourers are exposed to great dangers, ranging from collapsing mine shafts and toxic gases to injuries caused by tools.

 

*The project is particularly directed towards assisting underprivileged children, eradicate extremely poverty and hunger. 

 

So far we have raised amount of money $ 2100 in terms of project's facilities, including farming land, farming tools etc, but we need just a little amount of money to hit our goal. 

 

That is why we are writing to you! Will you support us and our live project? Just a small donation of $5, $10, $20,  $ 25, $50, $ 100 even you can donate amount of money in Tanzanian currency ( Tshs) can help us accomplish or reach our goal etc. 

 

Your donation will go directly towards to buy school materials for school children such as school uniforms, shoes, bags.

 

Assist food stuff those suffering from the consequences of HIV/AIDS. 

Assist distribution of seeds and farming tools to over 500 vulnerable families, such as single mothers and internally displaced persons. 

 

To support vulnerable and unemployed young to starting horticulture and gardening businesses, full engagement in farming. 

 

 

So far the activities being done by HROV are as follow:

* Project called Voice of Children.

* Chicken poultry ( engaged in eggs selling)

* Registration of 150 children with CHF ( being

insured)

* Mobilises students and children for communal labour in the rural areas during school vacations. 

* The organisation has initiated tree planting programmes in schools to benefit the children and residents in their areas and sharing urban farming techniques. 

 

Please give whatever you can even cloth materials for vulnerable and orphans children. Every cent donated through HROV Appeal will help the victims recover.
