Tanzania Network of Journalists Living with HIV/AIDS

Yestreday August 20, 2010 three members of TNJ+ completed a three-day training seminar on Project Cycle Management at the Green Acre House i Dar es Salaam where they learned how to find project ideas, how to develop the idea and write a concept note. Finally they exercised on writing concept notes and projects. The three members are Zephaniah Musendo, Nuru Mbamba and Yusta Mwakalikene.

Another two members - Mariam Amir and Fatuma Selemani completed a two-day training seminar on conflict resolution which was held at the Lion Hotel in Dar es Salaam. Both training seminars were organized and funded by the National Council of People Living with HIV/AIDS.

 

On July 27 to July 29 2010 Nuru Mbamba a member of TNJ+ attended a workshop on Reproductive Health at the Landmark Hotel organized by NACOPHA.

On July 29 to July 31 Zephaniah Musendo attended a seminar in Johannesburg for Journalists Living with HIV from Eastern and Southern Africa. The seminar was attended by 21 journalists from Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Botswana, Zambia, Lesotho, Tanzania, and South Africa. It was nice exchanging ideas and experiences among the delegates and they formed a forum for networking.
