The Tanzania Youth +Impact Generation Organization – (TAYIGO) is a local, non-profit, non-political Organization. It has been established on 14th August, 2012 as youths` self-help group by the General Meeting at Njombe Town, attended by members and some graduate persons from Sokoine University of agriculture (SUA). This Local NGO was formed according to the willingness of the (youth) community people in a view to deal with the present socio-economic, environment problems in different sectors by means of good understanding and sharing the problems each other and to find out the best way of solving the problems through free discussion forums, events, workshops and people participation in the decision making and get-together under an umbrella of TAYIGO Organization.

The head office is in Njombe town on the high way to Songea, Near-prison camp Njombe District.

 Since its establishment, TAYIGO have undertaken various activities particularly on the welfare of PLWAs, HIV/AIDS victims, under age pregnancies, supported formal education of orphans by providing school fees for 98 orphans and others community members in that target areas. TAYIGO had been doing these through following project activities locally:

  • Children sponsorship program (Early Childhood Education and development Project. continuing
  • Capacity building PLWAs on income generating activities and support on poultry (chicken ) and pigs projects),

  • Networking with other NGOs/CBOs doing related activities such as NJODINGO, EFA Program and  to support orphans school fees

  • Dissemination of information on preventing and HIV/AIDS counselling, poverty reduction, children policy (2008) and child rights (2009).

  • Has conducted advocacy campaign of HIV/AIDS victim’s rights and district council budget for social safety of orphans support every year.

We are a strong organization composed of 2 fulltime and 3 part time employee’s who values team work; participatory planning and implementation. We have managed to do all that we have done through cohesiveness and ensuring we perform.
