The creator and president: Daniel Benno Msangya
Danniel Benno Msangya is the Founder member of African Rural Press in Action, also up to date serves as the President since 2000. He graduated from Nyegezi Social Training Institute (currently St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) Advanced Diploma in Journalism (1992), also Advanced Level at Musoma High School (1990) as well as Ordinary Level at Makoko Seminary School and Musoma Alliance (1980 – 1986), Primary Education, at Nyegina and Ingri Juu (1972–1978)
He attended different studies in abroad such as NSJ -Ghanzi Botswana Certificate in Rural and Gender Reporting 1995, also Economic Reporting Deutsche Welle Training Centre Kolgn Germany 1998, additional, Certificate In Emergency Reporting for African communicators AANA/APT All Africa News Agency Machakos Kenya 1999, Certificate for Participation in the UCIP university program, UCIP/international young Journalists study tours for 30 days over 30 cities and towns visited for study tours in the Balkan countries: Yugoslavia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia –Herzegovina in 2002.
Also with ARUPA traditional dance –the Wagogo Queens of Drums from Nzali village attended an international culture festival under auspice of Klang Welten and over 60 cities and towns in West Europe including Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, France 2003-2008 were covered. In 2007 he led ARUPA to attend an international cultural concerts and reporting in Spain. Here over 15 cities and towns were visited including Madrid, Cordoba, Pamplona and Barcelona.
He is an author to published and unpublished books and articles. For the past 17 years he was employee with government owned media outlet (TBC)and correspondent for Deutsche Welle Radio, SPORE (CTA), Africa News, New People, The Guardian, The Citizen. AANA/APTA News & Feature Bulletin Service and founder editor in chief for UNICEF funded News Magazine for Women and Children in Mara Region. He is also former Coordinating Secretary of Lake Zone Information Team (LZIT) and Catholic Diocesan Social Communication Department Coordinator. He tutors in and mentors both cub reporters and exchanges experiences with guru in both print and electronic media.

The Coordinating Secretary: Benta N Matunga
Benta N Matunga is the founder member of ARUPA since 2000. She serves as the Coordinating Secretary. Currently she is the Ph. D Candidate at the University of Dodoma (UDOM) pursuing Social Sciences in Socio-economic determinants of antibiotic (2012-2014) Also she attended at Sokoine University of Agriculture, 2005 – 2008, (Master of Arts in Rural Development Studies). Her Bachelor degree, (BSc. Home Economics and Human Nutrition) was also obtained from Sokoine University of Agriculture, 1999– 2002 and Kilakala High School, Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education(1996– 1998), Sekei Secondary School, Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education (1992– 1995).

The Human Resource Officer: Mathew Leonard
Mathew Leonard is the Human Resource Officer and Asst. Secretary of ARUPA since 2012, he was born at Bukene-Nzega, graduated from the University of Dodoma 2012 (Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration) currently is admitted to Open University (OUT) for further studies

The accountant: Merryclementine Kanyonyi
Merryclementine Kanyonyi is the Accountant of ARUPA since 2011. She was born in Musoma District and she graduated from the University of Dodoma 2011 (Bachelor Degree of Business Administration) and Ashira Secondary School in 2008.

The assistant accountant: Lucy Msesa
Lucy Msesa is the Assistant Accountant with Certificate of Accountancy from National Bookkeeping Certificate of Accountancy (NABOCE) at Dar es salaam School of Accountancy (D.S.A) graduated 1985, she has long experience and worked at Dodoma municipal for 5 years, Worked as Accountant with World Vision from 1998 up to 2000, DAPACA for 2 years and ARUPA for six years (2003-2009) and returned 2012 up to date.

Hilda Mohamed is the Gender and Adolescent Officer of ARUPA since 2011. She was born in Dodoma Region and completed her advanced secondary school at Bustani Secondary School. She has experience of gender issues for five years.
