The Minister Launches the First Community Radio in Loliondo

The Minister for Science, Communication and Technology Prof Mbarawa has officeitaed the launch of the firts community radio in Loliondo. The Loliondo FM Radio will be serving 14 villages in Ngorongoro district inhibitated by the Maasai communities by large. The radio will bring information and news to these remote communities and link them up with the rest of Tanzania easily.

The radio project has been launched on 17.11.2012 and the communities, government officals and other diginataries witnessed.

The projetc has been established with generous support from Oxfam, UNESCO, Airtel Tanzania and RAMAT
