Machame Rural Action (MRA) is a non profit making organisation started in 2007 in Machame Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region. It is about 25 km away from Moshi town. It was established to address various needs of the community with its main focus in Cultural tourism, environment and agriculture.

Kilimanjaro Cultural Tourism is made up of 5 local

Tanzanians from Kilimanjaro regions and established

in June 2008.

vision by engaging thoroughly in

water sources preservation, education to

children, youth and public at large

through a commitment, cooperation, involvement

and public awareness campaigns.
