Women are the great players in the environmental degradation in Africa. This is due to the fact that women in Africa are the ones responsible for fetching firewood which accounts for millions of tones of trees cut for fuel wood in a year. Yet these great players have limited or no chances to contribute in the discussion and in the implementation of the national environmental policy in Tanzania. What strategies are the goverments, CSO's and private sector puting in place to incoporate women into the implementation of the environmental policy in Tanzania?
