Some of the Igeleke Mountains  indigenous trees  protected by KIUMAKI members. There are  14  indigenous trees species which produces fruits  to eat.

Promoting tree planting and conservation of indigenous tree species that are friendly to soil and water conservation is KIUMAKI main objectives. Women will save time for other productive activities when fire wood for cooking are available in this forest. Beekeeping are another associated forest activities which people are engeged in for their livelihood,product of honey,beeswax will be locally harvested.
