In order to strengthen the community Radio in Mtwara, JEAN media has appointed a well experienced new station Manager with quite a number of years of experience with Radio Mr. Phanuel Kunjumu. Along side the manager are young female journalists from Mtwara Region.

The activity in hand right now is involving community from both rural and urban Mtwara in Radio programs productions in a paticipatory manner. Trained community members will later be voluntary reporters for the radio about community issues. However we are faced with a tough situation of the running cost of the station.
