Foundation for development organization (FODEO) is non-governmental organization and not for profit, established to facilitate in development supporting and promoting in mainland area of the United Republic of Tanzania. FODEO registered by Tanzania law Made under section 12(2) of Act No 24 of 2002. Reg No. 00003431 of 17th, September, 2009. FODEO was established in 2009 and changed name from Magu aids and environmental group which was registered as CBO 2004.
FODEO works in Sukuma land areas found in Simiyu regional right now about 6 years, to all campaign that concentrates supporting women development. Rural women are highly vulnerable of challenges caused by repressive traditions at a long time reached themselves and climate changes. Situation which has led to lack of awareness of their basic rights, including freedom of educating on health sector challenges like family planning, HIV test and safe motherhood. Rural men are using these opportunity to oppress them a fail to attend to conferences that relate to women's issues have been taking place in urban and who living in rural area are forgotten. While numerous studies showing massive sexual violence taking place in rural areas.
According with the constitution revised in 2012, have three types of leadership known as FODEO MEMBERS, BOARD OF DIRECTOR AND ADMINISTRATION. FODEO Members are participated in establishing the organization, and last speakers of all issues relating. Member appointing the Board of Directors from among of people who are interested in helping the community, the Board is holding that position for 3 years period. The Board is empowered under the Constitution to choose a chairperson among of them, And are obliged to give notice of executing operations on multiple projects at a general meeting that meet once a year in accordance with the Constitution or in case of any emergency. Board Member performs the function of monitoring the performance of the Administration. According to the constitution, Board empowered to take into service considering potential employ in order to facilitate the functioning of the organization.
VISION
Emprove gender equality, human rights and good governance that concentrates in transparency and accountability of rural development projects implementation and eradicate sexual abuse of women and child girl.
MISION
Busega district have citizens who are empowered and educated to identify strategies to facing development challenges and demanding action.
FODEO OBJECTIVE
1.Eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls in the public and private spheres, including ending teenage pregnancy and forcing marriage.
2. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all , end the epidemics of AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria and neglected tropical diseases and combat hepatitis, water-borne diseases, other communicable diseases and maternal and child mortality.
3. Promote public awareness in participating in demanding transparency and accountability in rural areas development implementation.

VOLUNTEER
FODEO trained each villages 2 counterpart with total number 118 and 15 CCAs. CCAs are wards group leaders. Those people are community key changes of social behaviors changes to combat health sectors challenges. These volunteer as social trainer, dairy works to the community to educate through meetings, small social group with 15-25 peoples served and person to person to change behaviors to combart health sectors challenges.

PROJECT MANAGEMENTS EXPERIENCE.
FODEO has an experience of some project like social behavior changes to combat health sector challenges like the program names, Tanzania capacity and Communication Project (TCCP) and Communication for Malaria case Managements (Com - Case Project) (CCP) the fund from USID and holder John Hopking university (JHU) with partner Tanzania Communication and Development Center. The program was created to strengthen social behavior changes in fighting health sector challenges in Malaria, HIV, TB, family planning and safe motherhood to reduce maternal and child mortality.
The program bring together Busega district CHMT to district intregreting health plan.
