Economic Awareness Mission of Tanzania (EAMT) is Non-Government Organization and not for profit organization. Founded in2001, EAMT has in the past been working on capacity building, agribusiness Food Security and Nutrition, post-harvest management, mobilization of producers groups, project appraisal, HIV/AIDS, social protection and gender mainstreaming activities in urban and rural areas of Tanzania. EAMT In the past has accomplished the following activities; Mobilizing farmers to work in the groups, Organization & gender balanced groups each with 20 members from two villages Gairo division; Conducting participatory rural appraisal on 2002; Sensitization on food on PHM and security aspects; HIV/AIDS pandemic awareness in Kilosa, Gairo and Kongwa districts; Training farmers in increasing production and marketing skills and currently working on the issues of Beekeepers in Gairo division in promoting the sector through volunteers basis and promoting awareness of parents towards children survival, protection and development
