COBIHESA is the official acronym of community based initiatives in health, water and sanitation trust fund. This is an indigenous not for profit  organisation founded in 2002 and registered in 2003 under The Trustees Incorporation Ordinance (Cap. 375). The founding  members were compelled by the  plight of people in vulnerable communities, both in rural and urban areas regarding  safe water  and sanitation ,which compouded their health risks, related poverty  and daily hardships.
