As part of CGP Tanzania various interventions, it has successfully contributed to the promotion of debate on the norms or 'desired standards of practice' for civil society participation in climate change processes at local, national and International level.

CGP Tanzania is also providing a platform for actors to share experiences and dialogue on issues related to climate change particularly scaling up of marginalized voices as an entry point.

As part of follow up activities, CGP Tanzania sent representatives of marginalized groups –from villages to Copenhagen, Denmark to participate in COP 15 Conference and other NGOs’ side events on climate change. They presented their testimonies on their experiences on the impact and local solutions for climate change impacts to global leaders. Thus their voices were aired at global decision makers on climate change.

After the COP 15 Conference on climate change, CGP Tanzania continues to provide space for marginalized groups to engage policy makers at national and international levels.

Similar platforms exist in Finland, India and Brazil.
