Community Change Foundation (CCF) is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization based in Musoma Mara region, Tanzania and is committed to help people to discover and share resources that transform life. We pursue this commitment through holistic for community awareness raising on the social, environmental, health and cultural issue. The organization founded in September 2013 with only 5 founder members. Currently the Foundation expands up to 12 members. The Organization was officially Registered as a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) in 21st November 2013 under The Non-Governmental Organization Act, 2002 Made under section 12(2) of Act No.24 of 2002 with registration No.00NGO/00006662; for the sole purpose of enabling the community to improve their social and economic welfare through capacity building.

Our vision: The empowered society free from poverty, with access to information and communication technology (ICT) and reduction of diseases.

Our Mission: To empower the communities to reduce poverty, access to ICT, and diseases through awareness raising, policy advocacy, trainings and resources mobilization for those in need.

Leaders and members shall observe transparency in matters that involve the use of organizations resources by providing all stakeholders with physical and financial implementation reports.

Our Approaches:

CCF uses participatory approach as its basic methodology to allow and encourage the community (the target group) on its own problem solving and decision making and implementing its development programs. CCF considers this approach as a corner stone to sustainable community development. This approach is also a means to maintain sense of ownership and responsibility among the community and to secure its contribution in development work.

Our Major Achievements:

  • Working with local government (Musoma Municipal) into different developmental campaign.
  • Organization has credibility trusted, respected in the community and local government at large.
