The APBI is a non-profit-making association which is recognized and recorded like local ONG by the Ministry for the Local government, Good Governance, the Community Development and of the Social Affairs (MINALOC) which has ONGs in its attributions. It has also the publication of its legal personality in the Official gazet.

Organisational aspect  of the APIB

-       APIB is an organized institution directed by a Board in collaboration with its technical staff. The Board, inspired by the General meeting lays down the significant policies and other elements for this organization. The technical staff implements the policies installation, it conceives, it implements and manages the various projects which tally with the policies of the country and of the Organization.

-       APIB operates in five districts of the country which are Gakenke, Musanze, Burera of the Northern Province, Nyabihu and Rubavu of the Western Province and it is ready to open the horizons according to the community need.
