The Organization was established in 1988 as community based organization up to 2007 when it was registered as Non Governmental Organization.

ADESO played a very big role in Environmental conservation especially in bee Management, bee products and bee by products. Namely honey beeswax, Royal jelly, bee propolis, bee venom, bee pollen, Apilarnil and pollination services.

Achievements so far

We have organized groups in production of honey from 0 in 5 years a go to 1800kgs strained honey while others produce up to 9 tones per season.

Mentored, coached 5 to 12 groups of environmentalists on bee management and environmental conservation to each district of iringa region.

We are closely working with districts Local Government Councils in Environmental management especially in Bee keeping, Climate change, Forest economics. Rural electrification, eco-tourism Promotion, Water and Sanitation.
