TCH is an association as resulted of an assemblage of various stakeholders from Tumbatu islet or had intrests in Tumbatu to which due to politico-economic disparities its developments have been so much left behind times and so these as they met resolved the importance and need of people like them must have meeting sessions and it was agreed and  felt it about time they also contributed to the progress and advancements of the islet by forging to get rid of abject poverty, sensitise human rights and run better health and educational facilities. All of which are either non existent or in pathetic conditions. It is TCH desire to mainstream activities with those on the major island of Unguja so the islet do not remain behind growth and National developments that are geared to attain MDGs
