INTRODUCTION:
The Sanu School in Mbulu affectionaly called Sanu English pre & Primary school because of its media of teaching is a rural school built in Mbulu District.
The school location is elevated and allow you to see Mbulu Town as well as you need.
Sanu English is at 3 hours of Arusha City
3 hours of Ngorongoro
2 hours of Lake Manyara
2 hours of bush man land.
Currently Sanu English has 100, pupils from kindergarten to standard five the children range from about 4 years to 11 years old. (some started the school late) so it is common to have children of various ages in the same class. 18 of them live at school.
The school has just finished some constructions, now there are 6 class rooms where by 4 classes, 1 kitchen, and 4 rest rooms are hired from a priest at 1 km near by. There are toilets for the children ,an office for the teachers as well as to our proper site with 2 classrooms
Children are given porridge and lunch at school and sometimes juice while celebrating a birthday of one of them.

The project is currently under the supervision of SHUKURU N. ANTHONY He is an experienced teacher of computer and ways of languages, he is respected in the community for his wisdom and perseverance. He has a team work of qualified teachers.One nurse who works on part time, 2 watch man, 2 cooks and sisters who takes care of the 18 children and a cleaner.
ENVIRONMENT.
The population in which the school receive children is about 30,000 families Mbulu is a famous town where people adopt development slowly .It started the same day as Nairobi city but you can’t even compare it with the suburb of Nairobi city it is known as IMBORU GERA GWANG ( means Mbulu in front of Guang hill)
There are no proper roads in the town except for the main roads, internet, electricity and water are available.
Being in the high lands Sanu English gets much cooler during the nights and is not humid, you may need a blanked or ( our sleeved shirts from time to time.)
SANU ENGILISH NEED VOLUNTEERS.
Who do we need,
Enthusiastic, self – motivated and patient people who have completed high school and love kids.
Any one who is brood minded to work in the office and ready to live a simple life style in simple surroundings.
Couples as well as small groups are welcome to work in environmental sector health and community development for our village.
Qualified teachers are especially encouraged to come and teach English, maths, science.
STAFF ACCOMODATION:
Sanu school will arrange for clean rooms with electricity and clean water, in abundancy drink mineral water which is available if you want close by.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To teach at the school in coordination with the local teachers also while local teachers teach with the volunteers, other can plan access and evaluate on their own with very little guidance.
