Nancy Memorial Foundation (NMF) is a Community Based Organization (CBO) founded in Makang’wa Village, Chamwino District, Dodoma Region, Tanzania with registration number HWC/CD/CBO/46.

NMF was founded by Mr and Mrs Jonas Mgundulwa Mwano in 2008 as a Memorial of their late beloved daughter Nancy who passed away suddenly by malaria in 2007 during her Father’s graduation at the University of Dar es Salaam. NMF was founded with engagement of committed members of a very poor rural community, to tackle the numerous problems and challenges of life which are existing in its intervention area (Makang’wa village/ward). NMF main focus is to reduce poverty in the community through educating orphan and vulnerable children, improving water and sanitation, food security, credit to entrepreneurships, fight against diseases problems (preventable malaria and HIV spreading) and protection of environment.
