METI has both short term, mid term and long term projects that are geared towards the achievement of its objectives.

Short and mid term projects include:

• Providing school materials to vulnerable children in primary schools in Mwanza city
• Providing sports and games gears to selected primary schools
• Conducting research on the problem of street children to find solutions to alleviate the situation in urban areas
• Conducting community mobilization and sensitization campaigns on the problems of OVCs and need for the community to work together to fight against the problem

Long term projects include:

• Building a Youth Centre to train OVCs
• Opening schools to educate and train OVCs with special talents in Arts, Theatre, Music and Sports to enable them use the talents for indiviadual and community development

So far we have already secured land to build the centre and proces is underway to survey the land ready for activities whenever we have funds.
