The Kiteto Civil Society Organizations Forum (KCS Forum) is a registered Network of CSO’s that operates in Kiteto District, Manyara Region that have dedicated themselves to have undertaking various activities in Advocating for poverty eradication and sustainable human development in Kiteto District.

Being established in April 2001, the network has its vision as “contributing towards the community that receives high quality and sustainable social services and free from poverty within the framework of democratic Government and rule of law”. It is a District based network, which aims at empowering and strengthening the capacity of their members and key stakeholders towards advocating for justice, fare and equitable service delivery and Local Good Governance for sustainable human development. From its establishment the Forum has been coordinating and managing several projects that are implemented jointly by its members targeting the above mentioned areas as follows.

• Facilitate active citizen participation in Village land act implementation by conducting various public dialogues on land allocation systems.
• Enhancing public awareness and community participation in MKUKUTA and MDG implementation.
• Facilitate community to undertake Public Expenditure Tracking in their Villages as well as conducting Social Accountability Monitoring (SAM)
• Facilitates Policy public dialogues at the District level.

However, KCS Forum being a membership organization, it draw its 35 members from NGO’s, CBO’s, FBO’s and Trade Unions where by their interventions are directly related to support pastoralist and farmers in the District.
