This is a growing need by countries asking for EMF assistance. Volunteers forge strong relationships with students, parents, and other community members. Volunteers engage in a wide variety of outreach projects involving at-risk children or youth, adult literacy, health or HIV/AIDS education, environmental awareness, development of libraries and resource centers, and information technology.image

- Conduct community outreach and needs assessments
- Act as catalysts for change, continually engaged in defining their role in response to their host community
- Focus on community development projects for education, youth development, health and HIV/AIDS, the environment, and business

Applicants must be capable iin planning, organizing, counseling, . educating, youth development, health and HIV/ AIDS, the environment, and business.
Youth Development
Volunteers work with at-risk youth ages 10 to 25, helping communities develop programs to assist young people.
Volunteer responsibilities
As a Youth Development Volunteer, your role will be to work directly with at-risk youth and families, while helping communities, schools, and agencies develop programs to support them. You might work in an orphanage, school, NGO, or local youth center.
Depending on your specific assignment, you might:
- Conduct vocational training and promote activities to build self-esteem, leadership and life skills development
- Act as a health educator while providing HIV/AIDS education and awareness
- Work on community organizing and organizational development projects
- Train youth development workers
How do I qualify?
Education
Applicants must have an associate degree and one year of full-time counseling experience with at-risk youth; OR five years of relevant full-time work experience; OR a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with six consecutive months full-time experience. All experience must be relevant as described in the next column.
Experience
Applicants must have at least six months of full-time work experience with at-risk youth programs, teaching, or counseling. Other qualifying experience includes full-time work in one or more of the following categories: youth; conflict resolution or mediation skills; HIV/ AIDS counseling or awareness training; coaching or working with physically or mentally disabled youth; or with national and community service programs

Volunteer accommodation&Food
Single /shared self rooms for volunteer with available of electricity,water,in our volunteer house
volunteers will be given nice three meals per day normaly breakfask,lunch,and dinner to the volunteer houses/host family.
The volunteer house is a large one, with many bedrooms The house is safe and secure, with a security guard and a large gate. In the volunteer house, there is a cook who cooks the meals for the volunteers.
Regardless of the tribe or culture your host family is from, they will be sure to give you a good Tanzanian treat and meals will be relatively varied. Bottled water is readily available in Tanzania and volunteers should budget approximately US$10 per week for this (3- litres per day). Breakfasts generally consist of Chai (tea), toast, cereal, fruit and mandazi (deep fried dough). A typical lunch can include meat and vegetables with rice, sandwiches and fruit while dinner usually sees traditional food such as ugali, chapatti and boga accompany the meat and vegetables. Breakfast is taken in the morning, then, lunch, which is served at about 1 pm (or you can take a packed lunch if you wish to eat at your project) and then dinner/supper served at 6 or 7
